Are you sitting down? Okay, good. Well, I have some fantastic news for you. Many of us, myself included, read physical books less and less these days. In place of physical books, many now listen to their books as audio books while on a jog, in the car, around the house, commuting by train, etc... So, it is with great excitement that I get to announce that Living For A Living is now available on Audible.com as an audio book!
I spent many hours in the recording studio recording this book that is near and dear to my heart. I personally believe that we are all here on purpose, and moving into that purpose is the key to actually living for a living, as opposed to living only to survive. This is why I wanted to get this book out as an audio book as well. In this episode of The Love Cast, I share a sample chapter with you to hear so you can decide if you'd like to get an audio copy for yourself or a loved one. Give this episode a careful listen, and then get your audio copy of Living For A Living HERE.
From evangelical Christianity to becoming a poet and speech pathologist to walking the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across Spain, to being one of only two hundred women on Earth who are married to a Roman Catholic priest, poet Rebecca Bayles shares her inspired and unlikely story on this week's episode of The Love Cast. Give it an enthusiastic listen. You'll be glad you did:)
We've all heard that religion and politics shouldn't mix, but what about love and politics?
As a student of history, we can see that the marriage of religion and politics have yielded some of the world's darkest of ages, the worst forms of tribalism, nationalism, hypocrisy, control, etc... We still see this in our current political situation today. With that said, is there any place for a politics motivated by love? Is public service a 'no-go' zone for spiritually attuned and love motivated people? Is public office less 'spiritual' than other professions? In this episode of The Love Cast, I had the privilege of interviewing U.S. Congressional candidate David Kim about his decision to run for Congress. Give this episode an open minded listen.
