Ironically, a major tendency that works against our productivity in life is the compulisve drive to get ahead and accomplish tasks. This drive leads many of us to compuslive busyness and multi-tasking.
For many of us, if we are not busy doing many different things, we may feel unproductive and lazy, leading to guilt, shame, and addictive patterns of escape. For others, the feeling of unproductivity may motivate us to work harder and do more things. Either way, this pattern is a major drain of our life force energy which leads to an unproductive life.
